The Reality of Pain

Day to day I receive a lot of emails from people suffering from anxiety, depression, psychological abuse, and other related issues. Although I try my very best to respond to everyone I don’t always have the answers they are looking for. But I want to share with you something that I share with many people who approach me for help, and this information always seems to shed some light in their lives.

Think about this:
We ALL suffer from psychological trauma at some points in our lives. Obviously some people suffer a lot more than others. For the most part we are taught to believe that this “suffering” is bad, negative, and sometimes even evil. But let’s think about this for a second.

Present in all of us we have an “inner” invisible intelligence. Some call it our spirit, our soul, consciousness, and some people (like me) think of it and relate it to our subconscious mind. Although terminology may differ with different people the fact of the matter is that we all possess a magnificent “inner” intelligence. This inner intelligence does not need instructions or commands from us for it to do what it’s supposed to do.

This intelligence, day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute is keeping us alive without “us” consciously telling it to do so. This inner intelligence can handle an estimated 100 trillion instructions PER SECOND. Read that again, 100 trillion (that’s 100 000 000 000 000). Some of the things this inner intelligence does is: flow our blood throughout our veins, arteries, and pumps just the right amount of blood in and out of our hearts, controls our body core temperature among many, many, many other things.

This inner intelligence also governs our estimated 100 trillion cells throughout of bodies. In fact each cell does an estimated 6 trillion (once again, that’s 6 000 000 000 000) things every single second. And each cell knows exactly what every other cell is doing instantaneously.

So what’s my point?
My point is that this intelligence is so brilliant that we cannot even start to understand how and why it works. But! We do know that the main function of our subconscious mind is to “protect” us. So when you feel like life is too difficult to handle always KNOW that your subconscious mind and all its magnificent intelligence is throwing situations at you for the “greater good”. It would never hurt you for the simple reason for hurting you. It gives us situations because we are ready to grow and without these situations we cannot. Don’t ever challenge the brilliance of our inner intelligence. It knows what we need, when we need it, in the most effective way we need it.

This “inner” intelligence is too brilliant to hurt us for the long run. It’s attracting particular situations into our lives for one reason: to help us learn from them, battle through them, and to come out on top appreciating things we could not appreciate without going through the ‘pain’. Always know that although life seems too difficult to handle sometimes our inner intelligence will only subject us to situations we “can” handle.

Everyone suffers. And if you ever look at someone and envy them for their “perfect” pain-free life, rest assured they too have demons.
