Crowd: The Halifax-based crowd loves Tokyo Police Club and, really, there’s no denying it. The venue was jam packed and fans were breaking out their best interpretive dance moves to go along with the music.

Style: Indie Rock, Alternative

Technicalities: Tokyo Police Club’s vocals are very alternative and not your typical rock sound.

Memorable Moment: There were multiple memorable moments during the show. Some favourites range from the nonchalant throwing of the microphone by lead singer David Monks, to the guitar riffs by Josh Hook, to keyboardist Graham Wright’s ability to really rock out, and to the crowd’s reaction when Nature of the Experiment filled the room.

Image: Each of the band members had their own style that infused together to create their indie rock alternative attitude and image. They have truly nailed their image to match their music genre.

Comments: Seeing Tokyo Police Club was an all-around happy experience that I am giving two thumbs up as I write this. I wasn’t completely familiar with all of the bands song’s and wasn’t sure if I was going to like them all. In the end, the lead singers seemingly ‘I don’t care’ attitude brought in some really great stage moments that introduced me to some new songs that I actually ended up liking.
