The Motorleague has just announced the release of their third full-length album Holding Patterns out on October 16 via Sonic Records. The Moncton-based foursome will also be playing a string of Canadian tour dates in support, including three arena shows in Halifax, Moncton, Ottawa opening for Godsmack and Sevendust.

“This is finally four guys with the same vision,” vocalist/guitarist Don Levandier says. “We embraced that we’re a full-on rock band, and with this record, played up the writing to what we know we’re good at.”

After a few line-up changes and releases bouncing between everything from skate punk to stoner metal over the years, the band finally cements their union with Holding Patterns, and, subsequently, their status as a straight-up rock band, raw and raucous. The album was recorded at Toronto’s Vespa Studios with JUNO-winning producer Eric Ratz (Billy Talent, Big Wreck, Monster Truck, Cancer Bats).

Canadian punks, The Penske File have released a new music video for the track “Bedroom Angels” off of their latest album Burn Into The Earth.

Time and time again the Penske boys have learned when plans fall short, and life falls through, brighter flames come out of the dying embers. The making of this video was no different. As the band was set to shoot a totally different concept, life happened and angel costumes in a beat-up cop car was the quintessentially punk result. Incessant touring and their latest release through Stomp Records has the guys seeing some well deserved recognition and acclaim. Watch this video and watch out for this folk infused trio, because they’re making more than just sonic-waves.

Without further ado…. The Penske File:

You can catch them on The Midnight Stallions Tour coming to a city near you this Fall.
