Charlotte Cardin is a name you will soon hear again. The elegant Montreal native has a timeless, soulful voice, reminiscent of jazz musicians of the 1920’s.

Playing to a full room for the Spotify Spotlight showcase, Cardin kept the crowd hanging by a thread. The captivating singer had the audience listening to every word, while nodding their heads and tapping their feet to her powerful ballads. She announced early on that she would be “playing a few love songs” for us. They were not your typical love or heartbreak songs, as her songs rung a universal, timeless quality that seemed to move the the entire crowd, emotionally and physically. Her somber lyrics and melodic keyboard are complimented with help from her bassist, Mathieu Sénéchal and drummer, Benjamin Courcy. Her music mesmerized the crowd who swayed to her soothing voice throughout the entire performance.

A mix of delicate elegance, thoughtful lyrics, and musical talent, Charlotte Cardin is a powerhouse of a musician. Keep your ears open for this exceptionally talented young soul.
