Who: Harlan Pepper
From: Hamilton, ON
Where: The Great Hall
When: Friday, March 22 – 9:00 PM

Crowd: A mature crowd gathered to enjoy a night with Lee Harvey Osmond who clearly loved the energy of this young band who showed their appreciation again and again.

Style:  Countrified, blues soaked harmony-laden rock’n’roll with soul and experience beyond folks twice their age.

Technicalities: Minor microphone issues for a moment but these pros rocked like everything was running without a hitch.

Memorable Song/Moment: Dedicating the first song they ever wrote together to the memory of recently lost Canadian icon, Mr. Stompin’ Tom Connors. The set favored both familiar tunes and ones that will be on a new recording coming out later this year, most certainly on Six Shooter Records.

Sex Appeal/Image: If you like ’em young and talented. I’ve seen this band at least a half dozen times and they just get better each time.
