Every Thursday night at 9, KITCH Komedy provides a positive reinforcement driven guild of laughter expression, held inside the safe and non-restrictive confines of KITCH Bar (229 Geary Avenue)

Check your judgment at the door! This is a shame-free laugh collaborative that specializes in open, punchline driven humour articulation derived from an idealistic approach of sharing comedy-minded thoughts on social issues such as farts, various groups drive/dance like so forth, additional farts, sexual intercourse, the internet, “am I right, ladies/fellas?” and various types of “so, I’m single – can I get a what what?”

The lineup of comics every week includes professional, fully licensed degenerates who can be seen and heard regularly on Canadian television and radio, comedy festivals, and numerous now defunct chat boards. The occasional neighbourhood watch list?

Swearing and curse words WILL be permitted and loosely tolerated in an environment of extreme trust and although the following list of words is vehemently discouraged during the humour workshop:

*Dingus

*Fallopian

*Steve Harvey

*Uvula

*9/11

(depending on the tone and context of the “joke premise” the October 2006 New York City plane crash or “10/11” as CNN unsuccessfully tried to coin it, may be referenced during your 5 minute humour exploration)

Topics that are strictly forbidden during the show, punishable by a severe public shaming on the @KITCHKomedy Twitter page include “Children named Tristan”, the music of Bat For Lashes and Peanut Butter Allergies.
