Ross Porter set to Interview Quincy Jones at CMW

With a career spanning six decades, 79 Grammy nominations and 27 Grammys, including a Grammy Legend Award, the world-renowned Quincy Jones has made countless contributions to the entertainment industry as an American record producer, conductor, arranger, composer, television producer, film producer, instrumentalist, magazine founder, record company executive, humanitarian, and jazz trumpeter.

On Saturday, May 10th as part of the 2014 Music Summit, Canadian Music Week presents a Celebrity Interview with Jones, covering his vast list of accomplishments, contributions and endless anecdotes comprising his career. The interview will take place from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, and will be conducted by Ross Porter, Canadian broadcast executive of JAZZ.FM91, music authority, event producer, and published author. Porter was named to the Order of Canada in 2013 for his contributions to broadcasting.
