Now in it’s 10th year, Indie Week has proven itself to be an important staple in the Toronto music scene.    With 250+ bands performing over 5 days the once small time queen west festival has expanded to include showcases in Halifax, Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer and the country of Ireland.   More than a festival showcase opportunity, Indie Week is also a competition that features some of the best up and coming musicians this country has to offer.  Bands battle it through various showcases (Free times, Supermarket, Czehoski, Cadilac Lounge, Velvet Underground, Cherry Colas, Underground Garage, The Cage, The Hideout, Victory Cafe) to compete for the ultimate title of Indie Week Champion, a Shure microphone prize pack and a chance to headline Indie Week Ireland 2014!
