The Motorleague Announce New Album ‘Holding Patterns’
The Motorleague has just announced the release of their third full-length album Holding Patterns out on October 16 via Sonic Records. The Moncton-based foursome will also be playing a string of Canadian tour dates in support, including three arena shows in Halifax, Moncton, Ottawa opening for Godsmack and Sevendust.
“This is finally four guys with the same vision,” vocalist/guitarist Don Levandier says. “We embraced that we’re a full-on rock band, and with this record, played up the writing to what we know we’re good at.”
After a few line-up changes and releases bouncing between everything from skate punk to stoner metal over the years, the band finally cements their union with Holding Patterns, and, subsequently, their status as a straight-up rock band, raw and raucous. The album was recorded at Toronto’s Vespa Studios with JUNO-winning producer Eric Ratz (Billy Talent, Big Wreck, Monster Truck, Cancer Bats).
